Forthcoming Competitions:
The next club competition is the Gerry Plumstead Trophy on Sunday 19 February. This is a Stableford competition. The draws for the matchplay Singles and Doubles will be made in the clubhouse after the competition.
Start times for the Gerry Plumstead Trophy will be posted on the 'Competitions' page as soon as the draw has been made. Please telephone the Pro Shop if you want to play in this competition and your name is not yet on the entry sheet.

Professional's Cup Congratulations to George Booker (that name again) and Andy Rumbold (Rum) on winning the Professional's cup with 68 points.

January Medal and Stableford Well done to George Booker on winning the January Medal with a net 67. He just out-did Jay Johnstone who had a net 68. George wins £20 and Jay £10 added to their Pro Shop account. In the January Stableford there were sufficient entries to warrant prizes for both Division 1 and 2. Billy Hodges won Div 1 with 40 points ahead of J Shevlin on 38 points. In Div 2 R Ryan also scored 40 points to win from Dara O'Carroll with 36 points. The winners get £20 in their account and the runners-up get £10.

Bevan Bros. Trophy Well done to Nigel Wadey on winning the second competition of 2012, the Bevan Bros. Trophy with a net 70.

New Year's Cup Congratulations to Lee Hyland on winning the first competition of this 'olympic' season. He stood around for a couple of hours officiating and then managed to score 41 points to edge out in-form Les Davey and newcomer J Spriggs. December Medal and Stableford Well done, once again, to John Beeden. He really should think about turning pro with the number of sub-par rounds he is shooting. He won the December Medal with a net 66 and sees his handicap go down to just 2. Les Davey won the December Stableford by 5 shots with 43 points from Louis Lovell.
